Not knowing the goodness of God...

There are promises in Scripture which we may feel good about and there are those which we must realize and take very seriously in these last days. Here is one which we need to be aware of today…

“But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2Tim 3:13

After coming to know the real truth regarding some people who have a presence online and are seen by some others as being either involved in some “discernment” ministry or that they are of the “true Body” of Christ, it has occurred to me that some seem to like the idea of defying God to His face by knowing they can resist conviction with their hardened hearts. It would seem that their pride is puffed up each time they can pull the wool over another’s eyes as they masquerade as being righteous. Not knowing the goodness of God, they are storing up for themselves wrath for the Day of wrath. Deceivers, liars, hypocrites, and fools! All of these seem to get some thrill or sense of power by being able to deny the conviction of Truth which God has so clearly set against them in His Word.

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God. Rom 2:1-11

The worst of them are those who say they are so serious with God for the Church and Christ’s word of discernment but are themselves deceivers, liars, hypocrites, and fools. Of these 4 words which describe them, there is one which they realize the least in themselves as they go on enjoying the fact that they can fool other humans by their deceptions and lies with the masks they wear. And that is that they themselves are the FOOLS! For God is not mocked and they will reap exactly as they sow. They are storing up for themselves --through their impenitence of heart-- much wrath for their souls if they go on without repentance. Shame will fall on them with the same measure at which they have used God’s Words to mislead, control, and harm others. And this is a very serious measure for some. On that Day the Light will shine on their works of darkness --without them being able to lie and connive their way out before the eyes of man-- according to the Word of God. For when Christ appears their knees will bow and their tongues confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father, and their self-glory will cease. They will have to confess that they have grieved and offended God, His Son, and His Church severely by their white washed ways made pretty for the eyes of men so as to gain a following. God's mercy may not strive with them much longer if they turn not from this grave error.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God. 1Cor 4:5

There shall be no more trickery, deception, or hiding on that Day! Your days of harming Christ’s Church will be over then unless perhaps our Lord will put an end to your ways sooner.

I will love Christ and His Church with each individual member, and by God's grace I wish to be used of God to help uphold and defend the Truth. And as God wills, I will uncover the lies and the liars hidden within the Church as I become aware of them.

May God's Grace and Truth always prevail as this is seen through the Person and work of Christ Jesus!
