Oh God, when will You...?

My soul faints for Your salvation,
But I hope in Your word.
My eyes fail from searching Your word,
Saying, “When will You comfort me?”
For I have become like a wineskin in smoke,
Yet I do not forget Your statutes. (Ps 119:82-83)

O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. (Ps 63:1)

Oh God, when will You move like the power of the wind? When will you make yourself known to my insides? My heart is in need of Your touch and my soul is in need of your Breath.

Am I of Your people? Do You know me by name? I wait on Your Living Word to offer Life and Hope.

Where is the end of my days? Will I see that You were please with me when I enter Eternity? Only Your Life in me has any value towards that Day.

What are Your plans for me in the Days that You have ordained before my flesh dies or You return? Am I yielding to all that You desire of me? Soften my heart and make me walk in Your Holy Spirit and Truth.

I am so unlike You. You are so Holy and Perfect. What would I do if Your Son hadn’t taken my place of the death I deserve?

You are a Merciful God. Sanctify my heart and mind by Your Words for they are my Life. Keep my body free from sin. Don’t hold back Your Grace in my time of need, for I will fail and my life will faint.

Keep me in the shadow of Your Wings and cover me with Your feathers. For I am weak and my strength is nothing without Your protection.

You are Worthy of all my praise and worship for You are my God and my Creator. You are Good for you are my Savior and my Redeemer. Watch over my life and lead me in the way that pleases You for You are my Shepherd. Put it in me to follow and obey You for only in You do I have the Hope of Salvation.

Reveal Your Love to me as I wait patiently under Your Hand, for You are my Potter and I am Your clay. Form me into the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ, for I know this is Your desire. He alone has pleased You well, and He alone has offered me His Life.

Let me share in the bountiful goodness which You have prepared for those who Love Your Name in Truth. Let us walk together in Your Spirit and love as You Love. May those lost and without You come to know You through Your Love and Your Good News of Salvation from a dark world. Break my heart and make me know the Love you have for them.

I love You, Lord. May I have it in me to live this Love in my life and not just in my words. Wake me up to Your reality and cause me to perceive what these eyes of flesh can not see.

Talk to my heart and encourage me for I am nothing without You.
